Mbeje - 10 OVER 10 ft. Sphiwo Miya

Mbeje’s “10 OVER 10” appears in current online music listings connected to the 2026 project IMMUNE SYSTEM, where several South African music-download and Maskandi-focused sites list it as part of an eight-track album sequence. The supplied album field says SPHIWO MIYA, but the search results I found more consistently associate the song with IMMUNE SYSTEM, not a project of that name. Those same listings do not reliably confirm a credited feature by Sphiwo Miya on “10 OVER 10”; because of that, it is safer to discuss the track as a Mbeje recording while noting that any guest-credit claim needs stronger confirmation from an official artist, label, distributor, or verified platform source.

The available context places “10 OVER 10” within the Maskandi space, with one specialist listing categorising the IMMUNE SYSTEM album as Maskandi and showing “10 OVER 10” as the opening track, timed at 3:58. That placement matters: opening tracks often frame how listeners enter a project, and the title’s confident, scorecard-like phrase gives the song an immediate hook before any deeper lyrical reading is attempted. Without an official lyric sheet, production credit, or verified artist note, it would be irresponsible to overstate the song’s message; what can be said is that the release sits in a contemporary Maskandi ecosystem where isiZulu expression, guitar-led performance traditions, and personal storytelling remain central to how audiences connect with new music.

For South African listeners, “10 OVER 10” is relevant less because of any unverified hype claim and more because it adds another entry to the ongoing visibility of Maskandi releases in the digital music-blog environment. Mbeje is being indexed alongside other current Maskandi names on genre-focused platforms, which suggests the track is part of a living scene that continues to circulate beyond local word of mouth. Fans who follow new Maskandi albums may approach “10 OVER 10” as a concise entry point into the broader IMMUNE SYSTEM tracklist, while listeners who arrived through the supplied Sphiwo Miya credit should wait for a firmer platform or artist-confirmed listing before treating that collaboration as established fact.
